Postpartum Offerings
Postpartum is a tender and formative season that deserves care, intention, and support. These offerings are designed to nourish the birthing mother, support integration after birth, and help families feel held as they transition into life with a new baby.

Daytime Postpartum
Doula Support
Postpartum doula support is gentle, practical care for the tender weeks after birth. Certified in Innate Traditions, Lori offers daytime, in-home support focused on nourishing mothers, supporting newborn care, and easing the transition into family life with a new baby.
This support may include newborn care and education, breastfeeding support within scope, emotional processing, light household tasks related to baby and recovery, meal preparation or warming, and holding space as you integrate the birth experience. Lori's role is to protect rest, normalize what is unfolding, and help you feel supported and resourced—without rushing or fixing.
This care is rooted in presence, attunement, and respect for your family’s rhythm.
Closing of the Bones
with optional foot bath, yoni steam, sauna add-ons
Postpartum closing rituals honor the profound threshold you’ve crossed through pregnancy and birth. These offerings are designed to support physical closure, emotional integration, and energetic grounding during the postpartum window.
Rituals may include a warm herbal foot bath & electrolytes, sauna or herbal yoni steaming when appropriate, and a traditional Closing the Bones ceremony, using gentle wrapping and intention to help the body and spirit settle back into themselves. These practices can be deeply restorative—offering containment, reflection, and a sense of completion after the openness of birth.
Rituals are offered with reverence, consent, and care, and can be adapted to your cultural background and personal needs.
This ceremony is traditionally received after postpartum bleeding has completed, usually around six weeks postpartum. It can be held in your home or at our Sacred Birth Collective space in Canyon, CA.

Placenta Print Keepsake
A placenta print is a beautiful and symbolic keepsake honoring the organ that sustained your baby throughout pregnancy.
Using safe, food-grade dye, your placenta is gently pressed to high quality paper, creating a one-of-a-kind print that often resembles a tree of life. This offering is a way to witness and honor the placenta as a living record of nourishment, connection, and support.
Many families choose to display the print, store it with birth mementos, or include it in a ritual or reflection on pregnancy and birth.
No medical processing is involved—this is a ceremonial and artistic keepsake.
